Starting nursery is an important and exciting time for you and your child. At Westercraigs we aim to make this as happy and as comfortable for you both as possible.
We find that by involving parents and taking time at the beginning, most children settle into nursery quickly and easily.
Parents participate in a cross section of experiences alongside their child throughout the first week of their child’s starting at Westercraigs. We look forward to your involvement and participation in the support of your child in this transition.
You will get time to update your child's care plan and have a chat with staff and your child's keyworker. As our Staff work in family groups, we endeavor for a key member of staff to be available throughout your experience with us.
Most children settle in quickly over the first week of attendance but for other children it can take a little longer until they manage their full hours with us, working closely with staff in the setting helps this process greatly.
